Job Responsibilities

As a Remote Medical Coder, your main responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing patient records and documents for accurate coding.
• Assigning correct codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Working closely with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or similar).
• At least two years of experience in medical coding.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
• Good communication skills for interacting with team members.
• Proficiency in using coding software and healthcare databases.
